New to Up or Down? Start here.
A plain-English guide to crypto Up or Down rounds: how a round works, what the prices mean, what a bet really pays, and how traders try to come out ahead.
One question, every few minutes.
Will Bitcoin finish higher or lower than where it started? You pick a side. If you're right, you get paid. If you're wrong, you lose what you put in, and never more.
Short rounds
Each round lasts 5 minutes, 15 minutes or 4 hours, on Bitcoin, Ethereum or Solana. A new one starts as soon as the last one ends.
Two sides
Up wins if the price finishes at or above where the round started. Down wins if it finishes below.
Shares pay $1
You buy shares of a side. When the round ends, every winning share pays $1 and losing shares pay nothing.
A round, start to finish.

Know the line to beat.
When a round opens, Bitcoin's price at that moment becomes the price to beat. Aultramind draws it as the dashed Beat line, so you can see at a glance whether Bitcoin is above it or below it right now.
Finish at or above the line and Up wins. Finish below it and Down wins. It doesn't matter by how much.

72¢ means about 72%.
Each side has a price between 1¢ and 99¢. It's what other traders are paying, and it works like a chance: Up at 72¢ means the market thinks Up has about a 72% chance. The two sides add up to roughly $1.
The cheaper side pays more when it wins, but it wins less often. The button shows exactly what you'd win after fees before you tap.

One tap in. Then watch it live.
Set your bet size once. After that, one tap buys Up or Down at the price you see. $10 at 50¢ buys 20 shares, and if you're right they pay $20.
Your open bet shows whether it's winning, what it's worth now and how long is left. Session Bias shows which way the market is leaning, and Liquidity shows how hard the price is to push around.

Winning shares pay $1.
When the clock hits zero, the round settles on its own. Winning shares pay $1 each and the money goes back to your balance, ready for the next round. There's nothing to claim.
Every bet lands in Bets with the price you paid, what it won or lost, and the fees, so you always know where you stand.

How traders try to profit.
There's no trick that wins every round. Traders who come out ahead over time usually do the same few things well, and Aultramind is built around each one.
Buy good prices
You profit over time only if your side wins more often than its price suggests. Paying 60¢ for something that wins 65% of the time is good. Paying 80¢ for it is not.
Get the price you saw
Odds can jump in seconds. One-tap orders and line orders that wait for your level help you get filled at your price instead of chasing it.
Protect your day
Keep bets small and steady. A Daily loss limit, a profit goal and a Trailing stop pause trading for you, so one bad hour doesn't undo a good week.
Practice first
Every account starts with a $1,000 paper balance charged realistic fees. Learn the rhythm of a round before real money goes in.
Read the round
Session Bias, the Liquidity meter, big trades and the last 10 rounds give you context, so you're not tapping on a hunch.
Track what works
Earnings after fees, Profit factor and Expectancy show whether your approach actually makes money, not just how it feels.

Every number after fees.
Win rate alone can fool you. A 74% win rate can still lose money if the wins are small and the losses are big. Profit factor (what you won divided by what you lost) and Expectancy (what you make per bet on average) tell you the real story.
Above 1.0 means you're ahead. Below 1.0 means it's time to change something, or to stay on paper a little longer.
A quick glossary.
Common questions.
Is Aultramind the same as Polymarket?
No. Polymarket is the prediction market where the Up or Down rounds trade. Aultramind is an independent app for trading those markets faster, with one-tap orders, live round tools, daily limits and after-fee reporting. Your trades still happen on Polymarket.
What is a Bitcoin Up or Down market?
A short prediction market that asks whether Bitcoin will finish a round, such as 5 minutes, 15 minutes or 4 hours, at or above the price it started at. You buy shares of Up or Down, and each winning share pays $1.
How is the winner of a round decided?
Polymarket compares Chainlink's Bitcoin price at the start of the round with its 60-second average price at the end. If the end price is greater than or equal to the start, Up wins. Otherwise Down wins.
What do the prices like 72¢ mean?
The price is what one share costs, from 1¢ to 99¢, and it works like the market's chance that side wins. Up at 72¢ means traders think Up has about a 72% chance. A winning share pays $1, so cheaper shares pay more but win less often.
How much can I lose on one bet?
Only what you put in, plus fees. There is no leverage and no liquidation, so a $10 bet can never cost more than $10 and its fees.
Can I sell before the round ends?
Yes. Tap Close to sell your shares early and lock in a profit or cut a loss, or Swap to switch to the other side in one tap.
How much does Aultramind cost?
It's free to start. On Free you pay 1% per trade and keep 90% of the profit on winning trades. Pro is $49 every 30 days with 0.5% per trade and you keep 95% of wins, plus the desktop app.
Can I practice without real money?
Yes. Every account includes a $1,000 paper balance that trades the same live rounds and is charged realistic fees, so you can learn before real money goes in.
Where is Aultramind available?
Aultramind follows Polymarket's location rules. Polymarket isn't available in some countries, including the United States, so Aultramind isn't either.
There's no guaranteed way to profit. Prices already reflect what the market expects, fees add up, and short rounds move fast. Start on paper, keep bets small, and only trade money you can afford to lose.
Learn it on paper. Trade it when you're ready.
Every account comes with a $1,000 paper balance, so your first rounds cost nothing.
